Missions is a two-way street. That means that no person, culture or nation is the sole bearer of the Gospel. When we participate in God's plan to reconcile the world unto Himself, we see that people are transformed by people being transformed. In this way, the church grows the family of believers and the image of God is restored in Creation.

After 35 years leading worship in churches in Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas, Bill and his wife, Jan have answered God's call to share the love of God as church planters in Orange County, Vermont. In 2015 New Creation Fellowship was launched and continues to grow and minister to residents in Chelsea, VT for over 5 years. The Smith's came as missionaries with the North American Mission Board and to work alongside other Vermont Church Planters and Baptist Convention of New England. They have 3 grown children and 6 grandchildren.
We serve as missionaries along the Texas and Mexico border by strengthening churches, ministering families through various compassion ministries, medical clinics, community outreach, VBS, assisting churches and families with construction needs and meeting the immediate needs of refugees and immigrant families. We also coordinate mission groups as they prayerfully consider serving along the border.
Galveston Urban Ministries develops holistic relationships to transform our community. We are a relationship-focused nonprofit working to alleviate poverty in Galveston by empowering the poor and marginalized through asset-based Christian Community Development. We offer a “hand-up rather than hand-out” and walk alongside our neighbors as they do the hard work to change their life circumstances and ultimately lift themselves out of poverty.
Hearts4Kids is a ministry dedicated to live out the Matthew 25 mandate to serve people in need so they can reach their God-given potential. In 2015 God called Lori and me to love on the youth of the North Country by starting Youth Movement 360. YM360 offers Momentum, an area-wide youth group that meets weekly, along with small and large group activities. Our desire is to be a spiritual oasis for the youth and families we serve and for the amazing volunteer leaders we work with here in Northern New Hampshire and Northern Vermont.
We have been serving in region for the past year and a half but had to return to the States due to Covid-19. We are sadly not able to return so after much prayer and council, we have decided to move to a country on the Mediterranean with a large population of refugees from our previous location and continue our ministry with them. We plan to move this spring as soon as Covid travel restrictions are lifted.
